Restore smooth engagement and shift quality on your Freightliner Cascadia or Western Star with this OE Detroit DT12 Clutch Assembly — the LuK 5-spring version, built to Original-Equipment standards by Illinois Auto Truck and stocked in our Hanover Park, Illinois warehouse for fast nationwide shipping. This 430 mm single-plate assembly is engineered for the Detroit DT12 automated manual transmission (AMT) and is the correct service part for trucks built with the LuK (A02-14108) clutch.

ZF/Sachs or LuK — match your old number. The DT12 shipped with two non-interchangeable clutches: the 6-spring ZF/Sachs (Detroit A02-14135 / A02-82500 / A02-14027) and this 5-spring LuK (Detroit A02-14108). They are not cross-compatible — confirm the number stamped on your old clutch or on the transmission build tag before ordering. If your number begins A02-14108, this is your clutch; if it begins A02-14135 / A02-82500, order the 6-spring ZF assembly instead.

Trucks built with the Detroit DT12 automated manual transmission and the DD13/DD15/DD16 powertrain — primarily Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 47X / 49X / 57X. Installs between the flywheel and the DT12 bell housing. Replace on clutch slip under load, take-off shudder, hard or failed engagement, a clutch fault code, or a high-mileage refresh (the DT12 cannot self-adjust around a worn disc).
