Engine Oil Filter Cartridge, Specifications & Fitment

This is a replaceable element oil filter cartridge for late model Detroit Diesel DD13, DD15 and DD16 engines built on the Gen 5 (2020 and newer) platform. It seats inside the engine mounted filter housing and protects the bearings, turbo and injectors by trapping wear metals and combustion soot before oil returns to the pump. Hengst is an original equipment filter supplier to Detroit, so this is the same media specification that ships under the dealer box. Replace it at every oil service to maintain flow and avoid bypass on these high output emissions engines.
