Automatic Belt Tensioner, Specifications & Fitment

This is the automatic (spring-loaded) serpentine belt tensioner for Volvo D13 and Mack MP8 engines. It applies constant load to the poly-V belt so accessories stay driven without slip, and a tired tensioner gives itself away with belt chirp, flutter, rapid belt wear, or a noisy arm bearing. Installing a fresh tensioner with a new belt and idler is the standard fix to bring the front accessory drive back to spec.
